2020-2021 Practice Schedule Coming Soon!

Team Practices

Team practices occupy 4 hours per week with a focus placed on systems, strategy, and reinforcing good habits. This is where we fine tune the teams abilities to perform when it matters most. We spend a good amount of time in controlled game-play, encouraging teams and players to take risks, and learn from them in order to grow.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register for tryouts?
Please visit our Club Tryouts tab listed in the menu at the top of the page.
Where are the tryouts held?
Tryouts take place at our home facility, XL Sports World Hatfield. The facility is located at 2278 North Penn Road, Hatfield, PA 19440.
Will there be a parent meeting at tryouts?
Yes, we will conduct a parent meeting at the tryouts. We usually try to hold this meeting within the first half hour of the tryout, but it could come later due to several factors. Any questions leading up to or after tryouts can be sent to Susan or Jeff at director@infinityvolleyball.com
What should I bring to tryouts and how long do they last?

Please bring your volleyball equipment including: sneaks, knee pads, ankle braces, water or a sports drink, your tryout paperwork (medical release & membership card); and of course a great attitude and tons of energy!

Tryouts will last 2-2.5 hours, so please plan on being there the entire time to get fully evaluated.

Can I play up an age group?
We highly recommend that you play at your age group, although special circumstances might occur. Please communicate with the directors and coaches of your age group about any desire to play out of your age grade level.
Can I play another sport and participate with Infinity Volleyball Academy?
Simply, yes. Players must choose the team level and schedule that fits them best. All National level teams should be the 1st priority of each player. While we encourage multi-sport athletes to continue to develop, we ask that Infinity Volleyball be their #1 priority. Any practices or tournaments missed due to conflicts MUST be communicated to the directors and coaches in advance.
Once I am selected and accept, when do practices start?

Practices will begin Tuesday, December 1st, 2020; teams will occupy their normal practice slots beginning on that day.

How are travel arrangements coordinated?
Any tournaments that require overnight accommodations are handled by the directors. We secure a block of rooms, and forward to the parents a confirmation # to use when booking to get a discounted rate. If tournaments are a stay to play policy, we require families to use the hotel provided by Infinity.
Why is club volleyball so expensive?

The amount of expenses accrued during a club season are significant. Infinity does its best to utilize economies of scale in regards to uniforms, equipment purchases, and hotel/travel costs. However, a significant portion of our costs go to the leasing of court space, coaches pay, and the strength and conditioning services provided to our athletes. We go to great lengths to not rent just any space. We have chosen the XL Sports World Hatfield due to its size, ceiling height, and floor surface. The Taraflex surface is one of the best surfaces for volleyball due to its cushion and traction.

We believe our staff is second to none, and we want to make sure they are compensated fairly. That allows us to obtain high quality coaches, as this benefits our athletes and families.

When are the payments due by?

Payments for the Infinity Volleyball Academy club season are broken down into  installments (Base and Tournaments). The base fee is due upon the start of the club season, and tournament fees are collected once we receive confirmation the the tournament is being held.

This allows us to satisfy all of our financial commitments to our vendors, support staff, and the facility. Failure to adhere to the payment schedule could result in an athletes suspension from competition.
