Q: Who are your coaches?
A: Our coaches are a very qualified group of coaches that have coached or played volleyball at a high level and offer something to give back to the younger athletes. Our coaches are always clearly listed with credentials (found on our staff page) and complete a thorough background screening prior to stepping on our courts. Each coach also keeps in touch with other coaches on the Infinity staff to help with different coaching ideas and suggestions.

Q: My daughter wants to tryout for your BLUE team but has been offered positions at another club. What is the benefit of playing for your BLUE team as opposed to another club?
A: When you receive a roster position on a BLUE roster you are going to get a lot of training from many very qualified coaches. Our BLUE team practice system is a very thought out process. Each week your daughter will be part of a 40-member team practice with 8 BLUE coaches at the practice. We will coordinate this practice ahead of time and utilize 3 courts to offer a high-paced court that can be used for game play, IN/OUT of system drill work, and also benefiting from our coaching staff on the other 2 courts. We will work on technical skills and position specific drills on the 4 half-courts in a station practice system. When you look at the BLUE teams coaching staff we have a wealth of former professional players and collegiate players. This allows for your daughter to get the most exposure to a high level of coaching for her specific position weekly.

The BLUE teams will also receive a great amount of off court time with our staff to tape her movements while performing in game situations. We are proud to be partnered with IGNITE sports training to help us keep your daughter physically trained in volleyball specific movements. The partnership also brings a very exciting element to Infinity. Using state of the art DARTFISH technology we can take your daughter through a series of movements while taping her positioning, footwork and any other viable volleyball processes and pin point any small abnormalities. This will help her improve as a player and it can help prevent injuries.

Once the season starts your daughter will get 2 sessions a week of volleyball specific physical training from IGNITE training as part of her club dues. She will get two 2 hour practice sessions on court and one 1 hour technical session run by qualified coaches and club directors. We will also have team video viewing sessions and discussion sessions to cover any positioning, team tactical game plans or just get a chance to talk with coaches about any questions our athletes might have.

The BLUE team dues include:
• Coaches fees
• 3 Mizuno Jerseys
• 2 Mizuno Shorts
• 2 Pairs of Socks
• 1 Mizuno Warm-Up Suit
• 1 Mizuno Travel Bag
• 1 Practice T-shirt
• Entry fees to tournaments
• All court time fees
• All your training sessions with IGNITE

Q: What's the difference between the BLUE and BLACK teams?
A: Our BLUE teams are a more travel oriented scheduled and hope the players enjoy the chance to play at a higher level along the east coast. The BLACK teams are scheduled to stay in a more local or regionalized tournament schedule. The BLACK teams are a very reasonable package that allows players the opportunity to get good training and excellent tournament experience while not traveling as often. Each 1 day tournament will be ideally within a 2-hour driving distance from our practice facility in Chalfont, PA.

The BLACK team will have 2 on court training sessions with multiple teams and will have organized practice plans to help each player improve on an individual basis using a communal practice plan that will have multiple coaches at each practice. We will try to utilize every coach's expertise in a specific volleyball position and use station training to get each player matched up with a coach that understands their position. We also will be using these communal practices to help organize true game play scrimmages during practice sessions.

Each BLACK team member's dues cover these items:
• Coaches fees
• 2 Mizuno Jerseys
• 2 Mizuno Shorts
• 2 Pairs of Socks
• 1 Mizuno Warm-Up Suit
• 1 Mizuno Travel Bag
• 1 Practice T-shirt
• Entry fees to tournaments
• All court time fees
• All your training sessions with IGNITE

Q: With the costs being so high, do you offer any assistance or fundraising options?
A: Due to NCAA rules, we cannot give an assistance or price-breaks for club dues but we do offer to organize fundraising for the players. At Infinity we understand the need to keep prices as low as possible. This year we have refined our budgets, tried to be as creative as possible and tried to keep everything in line with last years costs as possible. Unfortunately, gym time costs money along with day-to-day operations to keep our organization running.

We have been brainstorming to see how we can help everyone afford to play the sport we all love. We have come up with a few ways to help. Each team will have 2 parents based on a volunteer basis to run fundraisers for their specific team. With the help of Infinity we are hoping to coordinate some creative fundraisers we've selected to help with the cost to our families. We have arranged to receive payments in 2 increments. The 1st payment will be due at our Infinity Volleyball Academy Family Signing Party on November 23, 2008. The second payment will be due March 1st 2008.

Our new website will have the capability to accept credit cards with help from PayPal. We will have to add the finance charges we incur from these transactions but we feel this might help some families make the payments a little easier.

Traveling is always expensive! For vacation in Hawaii or just staying in Baltimore for the NEQ. Overall, we are a very understanding organization that if approached can help work out a payment schedule to help you with the dues for your daughter’s 2008-2009 season. All arrangements will be done in writing and must approved prior to 1st payment. All arrangements must be approved by both Infinity Directors.

Q: When do the practices start?
A: We are starting all of our practices on December 1, 2008. All practice times will be known by November 23, 2008 and clearly outlined for players and family at the Family Signing Party.
